COMPRECEL - Microcrystalline Cellulose is a partially depolymerized cellulose prepared by acid hydrolysis of purfied wood pulp, natures' most abundant polymer. COMPRECEL products are widely used as key ingredient in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical supplement application, primarily as binder/diluent/disintegration in table and capsule formulations in both wet granulation and direct compression processes.
DISOLCEL- Croscarmellose Sodium is an internally cross-linked Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium. Cross-linking was achieved without the use of cross-linking agents. Compared to the soluble Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Cross-linked DISOLCEL is essentially water-insoluble, yet swelling and absorbing many times its weight in water. As a result, it provides superior tablet disintegration and dissolution characteristics, thus assuring the bioavailability of the drug.
